I did a dumb thing on the WinXP side of my Mac: I turned off VGA in the Control Panels. Why it's possible to TURN OFF YOUR MONITOR SIGNAL is a little beyond me, but there it is. I have no monitor now, so I can't correct the problem.
When booting into Safe Boot mode, it is impossible to pick a System Restore point, because USB support is disabled at that point. I would need a serial port keyboard and that's certainly not an option.
Sooo . . . my options as I see them are: reinstall WinXP (last choice) or get someone clever to help me. I would think there is some system file I could tweak from the OS X side that would let me set the VGA back to "on." or to somehow reset the System Point from the Mac side.
Any help wold be appreciated.
