system services using tons of data

iPhone 5s, 8.4.1.

Is anyone elses system services using so much data? it is mostly documents & sync and iTunes account.

I've only have 500mb over month and month and this is using up to 200mb, seems way too much. Even on wifi it will use cellular data, I've even disabled syncing on cellular in settings under iCloud setup.

I reset statistics under cellular, used maps to find a place and checked it upon arrival and it had used 40mb in data?!?

just seemed to get this bad recently....? I've had to turn off data completely.

Go to cellular,and scroll all the way down to system services and click on it.
It will tell exactly what service uses how much data.
For me the most is iMessaging services.

40mb to use up on maps navigation is not that much. Sounds like you need a higher data plan.
