System updates

With our current Windows computer, MS pushes out required updates on a routine basis, but we have to go to other sites for driver updates for things like the modem, etc.

Doe Apple provide updates for the entire system so it's seamless to the user?

Does Apple provide updates for the entire system so it's seamless to the user?

Yes, Apple provides updates for anything related to the basic OS X installation. It won't provide updates to 3rd party software that the user adds.
