Unfortunately I have been diagnosed with tinnitus and it's driving me absolutely crazy.

I have identified the offending noise in my ears and it's in and around the 80Hz - 110Hz mark.

I'm now after an app that will let me cut all frequencies beneath 110Hz so I can enjoy listening to music through headphones again.

I was looking and eqMac comes up as being quite popular, but I thought I would come here to ask. Only problem is that eqMac seems to be a bit buggy.

Any help is really appreciated.

Have a look at Rogue Amoeba’s audio apps, they always seem to get great reviews:

Thanks!

I actually picked up Boom 3D for £9! I'm glad it was on sale as it has a lot of features I wouldn't use, like surround sound etc. Those effects are very good, but I'm just after the EQ.
