Carrier T-Mobile $30 Prepaid plan?

Does anyone know what happens when you go over the 100 minutes on the $30 prepaid T-Mobile plan? Do the extra minutes get charged to your bill or does it not allow you to make calls?

Also, would it be possible to switch from my current T-Mobile plan to the prepaid one? I am still paying me EIP though.
