They always claim they have the best network but it sucks everywhere.

"The most reliable experience in the U.S. is with T-Mobile"

"T-Mobile, which undoubtedly remains America's fastest 5G wireless service provider in addition to the 5G availability, latency, reliability, and consistency champ."

We're with Verizon. Been with them for 3 years. Previous was AT&T for 4 years. We were thinking of T-mobile, but seeing the same thieving behavior from them says that there is really no place to go.
I just see T-mobile as the least evil of the big 3, kind of like how Apple is the least evil big tech company. They’re all corporations out to make a profit at the end of the day

The customer service I’ve gotten through T-mobile has been infinitely better than when I was with Verizon. Whenever I call for anything I’ve never been on hold more than a single minute, and during daytime hours I always get someone based in North America who’s friendly and easy to talk to

Yes it is armchair lawyer. This deal also doesn't include buying USCellular's 2000 towers, just leasing space on them, and the spectrum buy at first glance barely even puts T-Mobile over the FCC soft cap in very few markets, and it's not even known if those are in the 30% purchase, which it's likely not. This deal is crafted strategically not to buy everything because it won't be possible without divestiture, but also USCellular isn't "going away"
I think I might not see the part you’re concerned MacRumors added to the report.
T-Mobile has previously acquired MetroPCS and Sprint, with the latter merger occurring in 2020 after it was previously called off in 2014. U.S. regulators have been concerned with the lack of a fourth major carrier in the United States and could be hesitant to approve yet another T-Mobile purchase.
Is it the “could be hesitant” portion or something else that bothers you?

And again, I think I may understand your general belief, and if so, regarding your legal analysis… how are you so confident that T-Mobile + [insert market asset here] isn’t going to be scrutinized? I.e. isn’t it fair to say, “the United States may be hesitant to approve yet another T-Mobile purchase”?

Yeah and still bummed you can’t get factory unlocked from Apple on Apple Card installments anymore. What a D/ick move.
You can still do it, you just have to activate at time of purchase. From what I was told, people were buying the iPhone and then paying it off right away and Sachs was not making enough money so to slow it down they make you activate with carrier.
