hi I’m having a hard time finding a straight answer , I know the T-Mobile x will work on Verizon but does this mean only on 4g or will I get the LTE speeds ? Are any bands missing besides CDMA ? Is there any CDMA coverage still around that would make it a mistake to use this on Verizon?
Thanks

To verify your device will work on Verizon, you can enter IMEI on https://www.verizonwireless.com/bring-your-own-device/#checkDevice

It is true most T-Mobile devices may not be compatible with Verizon due to GSM and CDMA network. However, Verizon iPhone can work with any GSM or CDMA network. It is due to device directly from T-Mobile may strictly be GSM or worldwide fully paid unlocked from Apple (can be GSM+CDMA).

Since LTE is mostly on GSM network, it is still possibly some Verizon bands may work on T-Mobile iPhone. However, the device may not fully capable to utilize all Verizon bands.

Verizon
  • 4G (LTE): 700MHz (bands 13), 1700MHz (band 4), 1900MHz (band 2), 2100MHz (band 4)
T-Mobile
  • 4G (LTE): 700MHz (bands 12 and 66), 1700MHz (band 4), 1900MHz (band 2), 2100MHz (band 4); band 600MHz (band 71) rolling out in 2017-2019
Verizon does have a 14 days trial period under return and service termination if you want to give it a go before actually switching over. https://www.verizonwireless.com/one-support/return-policy/

Wow I may just stick with T-Mobile than, I can’t really complain about the service. Just had a itch to switch lol

The TMobile iPhone X, if unlocked, will work on Verizon but you will only receive LTE. You will have no fallback.
