Got the T-Mobile iphone x at full price and want to send it to my brother in europe to use.

Question, how can i make sure it will not be sim locked when he gets it? Will activating it here in the u.s with Verizon sim first ensure that it’s globally unlocked?

Thanks

If you bought it from Apple full price it should already be unlocked. If you bought it from t mobile full price you have to use it on their network 40 days first. I have unlocked many iPhones on t mobile but had to wait the 40 days first. After that they have always unlocked it for me hassle free.

Got it. Thanks
