The trouble is that for a 2022 device, it does not have WiFi 6E. Wake me up when this feature gets added, then I might bite...
Not sure why this matters. If you get cable/fiber all they give you is a cable modem or some sort. You can easily run out to buy a WiFi 6E access point and you are good to go.

At 60/month (just $10 more), I am getting 500-1000 Mbps down from ATT Fiber with close to 5ms latency.

TMo Home Internet just can't compete.
Just tested. This is for $50/month. The ping sucks but I'm not a gamer so I don't care about that. I do live within 200 meters of a mid-band 5G tower which helps with the speeds.

I've had T-Mobile Home Internet for about 5 months now. I'm not a gamer so I don't care about ping times but I do get 500-600 Mbps down and about 100 Mbps up. This is about twice as fast as my previous XFinity cable modem and XFinity was charging me over $100/month where T-Mobile is $50.

I did just start a new job so I'll have to test the VPN for when work from home. It would suck if I had to go back to XFinity for a VPN connection.
The VPN I need for work (Global Protect) is fine on the T-Mobile home internet connection. I also use Tailscale VPN and it also works fine and gives me the ability to see my home network and do inbound ports from anywhere.
