Anyone else get a message from T Mobile today that your rate plan is being retired & they are moving you to a new plan? The link they provide takes me to some of the benefits of the new plan, but nothing shown with regards to pricing. I know that my rates may go up by up to $6/line because they mentioned that, but can't find anything else. Curious if anyone else has been able to compare their current & new plans.

T-Mobile did the same thing to my wife and I one year ago. They discontinued our grandfathered-in plan, which was very reasonably priced. We moved over to Patriot Mobile, got a lower price, and still use the TMO network to boot.

I had a dealer plan that was killer. I was paying $18 for unlimited everything. When they discontinued my dealer plan a year ago, they were going to raise my rates up to $60 a month. So I switched to Mint Mobile, and after initial fees, I’m paying about the same price now with them.

These text messages are going out to legacy plan customers. Lots of misinformation out there about what plans are affected. But the whole deal has blown up on the T-Mobile subreddit.

So far, I have not received the text message. I'm hoping this will pass me by, but who knows. I'm on a late September 2015 Simple Choice plan.
