question for folks who have 14 Pro Max on T-Mobile, what are the noticeable differences between 4G LTE and 5G? (besides obviously the speed)

Can't say that I've seen any real differences other than speed (with good reception, I get 600-750Mbps here in Seattle).

Doesn’t seem like any difference other than speed. Most of the time away from Wi-Fi I’m on 5G UC, and it’s VERY fast, so that difference is pretty significant.

When I got my 14 PM I noticed that 5G used more battery (as it did on my 12 PM), although it was much faster than 4G of course. I just left it on 4G. However a few months ago I switched the phone back to 5G as I was downloading and sending some large files. I didn't bother to change it back to 4G. Later I noticed that now it doesn't seem to use any more battery than 4G. I don't have any documented numbers for either though, just my observation.

I am on a DSL at home out in the country. Say I need to update my device I take it to a nearby town to do the update over cellular as it is in the 400-500 compare to barely 15 mb down at home. The updates seem to be larger and larger and by going nearby it takes about 5 minutes compared to a hour.

What I have seen is big difference but when I am on 5G UC it is really fast
