The offer is a little deceptive. The essentials plan at $55 for two lines does not include taxes and fees. Their other 55+ options do include taxes and fees in the cost. So, the essentials plan will cost more than $55 when you add taxes and fees into the mix.

I don't think it is deceptive, seeing how they clearly states taxes are extra with this promotion. I understand your point, though.

Actually, T-Mobile has had a somewhat similar deal for quite some time. $60/month including all taxes and fees (with autopay turned on). The $55/month plus taxes and fees may in fact be more than $60/month.

Deceptive is probably too strong a word. It is worth noting the difference though. Still a great deal if you have good tmobile coverage :)

Right. I’m with AT&T with 4 lines and got a loyalty discount and the price isn’t much more for a much better network.

The original plan T-Mobile came out with was for 65+. This plan now includes those who are 55+ and is actually a great deal when compared with other carriers. And as far as AT&T being a better network, that depends on where you are just as it is with other carriers.

I know a year ago it was 55+ not 65+ because my dad was able to do that for him and my mom.
