Yes, they did. In the spring and I think summer they were offering the LTE-enabled iPad Air for the Wi-Fi price. It was a huge promotion. Not sure when they stopped it.

Folks, I stand corrected. And confused as to why I didn't take advantage of that steal...

If they run the promotion again for the air 2 I might jump on it

Absolutely!!! Although, it's still way too thick. They need to completely remove the battery and make the iPad Air 3 only 3.2mm thick!

there isnt an option for the 64gb air 2. I did this for the original iPad air last year and even though they advertised free 200mb for life I still have to call every month to get the $10 on demand charge reversed. (I paid it off early btw)

They credit the $10 back to you every month for most of the tablets they sell. So yes, it is free.

If you are on a post paid plan, they will credit the $10 to you. Thus, if you do not have phone service with T-Mobile, do not buy a tablet with EIP through them.

How do you get that deal? do they credit it back if you don't use any data?

No, that is the standard deal if you have a phone with them. I've got three tablets on it. My out-of-pocket for data on tablets on T-Mobile is $0 every month. It's only a 200MB plan, but if you're on WiFi most of the time you may not need more than that. (And, if you do go over, they only slow you down, not charge you for the extra data.)
