T-mobile Uk + EDGE?

I bought an unlocked iphone in america and my uk t-mobile sim worked there using edge now i'm back in the uk and edge doesn't work i have searched on this and have changed the edge settings to what others have got it working on but nothing please help me thanks.

T-Mobile has very little EDGE coverage. If you ring customer services and get through to the technical department they will probably tell you that. They concentrate on 3G.

I work for t-mobile uk tech support & can confirm t-mobile don not have ANY edge coverage in the uk.
