Can't get an answer from T Mobile. Does anyone know if they will be selling or will Apple be selling the iphone6 on the scheduled release date in September that will work on their network. Same for Virgin mobile you can not get an answer from them

Thanks

Maybe Because the phone is not even released yet?
No one will know anything and all you can get now is assumptions and guesses.
But keep calling to try to get an answer...

T-Mobile undercuts AT&T on 4-line, 10GB family plan

Good through January 2016. It then goes back down to 1GB per line. Though a lot could happen in the wireless world in 17 months. It might be permanent by that time.

We have tried T-Mobile twice over the years and the signal in our house is poor, I have Verizon now and I am more interested in the plan that graphic shows, 4 phones, 10 gb for $160, I pay $260 now. WTH

iOS 8 will give the iPhone Wi-Fi calling access which would probably address the poor signal in your house. So if you get good signal with them in other places that you travel then you might be able to manage now.

"schedule released date" lol ;)

I went ahead this week and switched my 2 lines to TMobile prepaid from Verizon postpaid. Went from $220/month to $60/month, and I have virtually the same service, minus some small things like visual voicemail or hotspot capability. I just couldn't justify the huge Verizon premium anymore. With the savings I could literally purchase a full price iPhone from Apple every 5 months, instead of Verizon's Edge program and the big bill. I liked Verizon's service, but geez oww.

Whoa, just seeing this for the first time. Hell of a deal. Plus I know T-Mobile advertises that they offer that whole "we'll pay the rest of your contract if you switch over" thing. Is there any stupid fine print to that, because if not, I may do a switch really soon based on this.

Bam.
Can't beat that deal. I'm thinking about doing the same soon.

The $100 a month does not include the phones you'll be renting from tmobile. 4 phones at about $20 each per month plus tax & fees..you're looking at $200 a month for the phone bill.

Unless you have your own equipment or buy your phones outright essentially. Otherwise similar "rent" fees would apply with other carriers as well too.

Obviously.
You think they will also give you 4 phones worth $650 each with a 4 line $100 a month family plan?
Lets be realistic.
You either bring your own phones, buy them yourself used or new or make payments towards them.
Still way cheaper than anything out there.

Sprint to slash pricing starting next week, report says

Sprint's new CEO has only been on the job four days and is already promising employees "disruptive" price cuts as soon as next week, according to a report from Light Reading. Will this move finally stem Sprint's subscriber losses?

We will see how "disruptive" their prices will be....
I hope it will be.

I just am turned off by Sprint's policy of locking their phones to Sprint only for some reason. With the other carriers you can take your phone with you pretty much. With Sprint, if you leave you have to buy all new phones, and the value of your old ones to sell is going to be less because Sprint.

I agree. This is a big problem with Sprint. They need to open up their devices similar to what Verizon has done. It's not uncommon to see Sprint versions of the latest iPhone has over $100 less resale value than the other 3 carriers.

AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile are mostly focused on FAMILY PLANS.

Sprint could really differentiate itself by focusing on INDIVIDUAL PLAN by getting rid of Family Plan.

$30 a month for unlimited talk, unlimited text, 2GB of data would gain them a lot of subscribers.

All Sprint stores are closing early on Monday for mandatory training. In 2 days, we will know what their "disruptive pricings" will be. I hope they will be focusing on Individual Plan.

I think the other 3 carriers are starting to get it right. While the carriers do need to offer more competitive single plans as well, they still need better plans for families also. With more and more people using a smartphone there needs to be better plans when it comes to data. It's very easy to use 2GB of data in less than a month with a LTE smartphone and yet this seems to be what the carriers center their plans around including T-Mobiles newest offering with 2GB of data for each person on the plan.

I'm trying to decide if it's worth it for me to change to this new promo plan from the one I currently have with T-Mobile.

Existing:
4 Lines
$80/mo Share Plan
Line 1: Unlimited Data (grandfathered version) $20/mo extra
Line 2: 3 GB Data at $10/mo extra
Line 3: 1 GB Data at $10/mo extra
Line 4: 1 GB Data at $10/mo extra
Monthly Total (w/o taxes, fees, discount): $130/mo

Promo Plan:
4 Lines
$100/mo Share Plan (promo thru end of 2015)
Line 1: Unlimited Data (new version) $30/mo extra
Line 2: 2.5 GB Data at $0/mo extra
Line 3: 2.5 GB Data at $0/mo extra
Line 4: 2.5 GB Data at $0/mo extra
Monthly Total (w/o taxes, fees, discount): $130/mo

In aggregate, thru 2015, it's the same dollars/mo with 0.5 GB less data per month for Line 2 and 1.5 GB more data per month for lines 3 and 4. Of course in January 2016, it would drop back down.

My line is the unlimited and I pay the whole bill so making the change is really a favor for 2 of the lines over the next 16 months. Anything I am not catching that would not make it worthwhile for me to switch the plan? I suppose it would really be an extra $10/month for me in January 2016 to have it all return to the way it is right now.

This would be disruptive:

$25: 1 GB, unlimited talk and text
$35: 5 GB, unlimited talk and text
$45: 12GB, unlimited talk and text

Individual Plan. No more family plan.

What Sprint came out with is not disruptive. Lot of fine prints and complicated details. It won't gain a lot of customers with it. And the promo will end on September 30, 2014.
