I'm doing mental gymnastics trying to process these two statements... :p

Allow me to explain my statement. For a person to have "fixed 5G" in the home, they're going to have to have extra equipment in their home and probably even nearby. Without the extra equipment, the signal will get stopped by walls.

Ah... I see. Here's what I found:

"With fixed wireless, there are no cables required. Instead, a “fixed” antenna is installed on the house, similar to how a satellite dish might be installed. This antenna then creates a wireless connection with a nearby wireless tower, which can connect to many antennas at the same time.

When the fixed antenna receives the signal, it can send the connection down a short cable and into the house, where it can link up to a router or other device as needed."

Makes sense. Thanks for clearing it up! :)

Thanks for even better clarifying. And no problem, I should have been more specific to make my point make sense. But I'm going to be honest here, sometimes I read about what 5G is and isn't and I wonder if even I know what I'm talking about. ;-)

Verizon 5g FTW .... Useless on a phone but at home will add much needed competition

T-Mobile is a joke compared to Verizon

isn't there like 4G+ LTE that is like super faster?
wouldn't this be the best of both worlds , fast speeds and reasonable coverage?

Who cares about 5G. How about T-Mobile making the e-sim work with two post paid numbers... That would be a step in the right direction...
