It seems to be that you're the only other soul on this forum that understands this concept.

Prepaid services don't require any personal information (at all, you can be Jon doe for all they care).

So if they get hacked, they can't steal your identity.

But for some reason other's can't see that their personal privacy and data are important enough to make that sacrifice.

maybe its the "embarrassment of riches" until they lose it all.
I'm also very cheap. 😄 Also never use SMS as a verification option.
 
The people at T-Mobile are completely incompetent. I have an "account password" setup on my account which they're supposed to ask for when you walk into a store or call them on the phone, and they have NEVER asked me for this password. Additionally, they offer ZERO ABILITY to use 2-factor authentication with an authentication app. They REQUIRE you to use your cell phone to receive an authentication text, which has been known for almost 20 years now of being the easiest & quickest way to hack into anybody's cell phone account! 🤣😂😆 Truly incompetent.
I'm glad to still be on the Sprint side of things but that won't take much longer to change.
