Except Binge On doesn't work with YouTube and (unfortunately) my daughter spends way too much time there.

You actually still get a benefit on Youtube. Even if the usage on youtube isn't zero-rated, it's still down throttled, so the amount of usage is limited. T-Mobile's quoting a 3 to 1 savings in usage, apparently.

So at the end of the day, all of her hanging out on YouTube will have less of an impact on your usage than without BingeOn enabled.

At&t will raise price of unlimited plans on feb 16. T-mobile is acting now.[/QUOTE]
Do you know this for a fact?and are you talking about the new directv unlimied bundle plan?

"T-Mobile has introduced a new Family Match promotion that offers families four lines of unlimited talk, text and LTE data for $150 per month. "

Wow what complete rip off. I am amazed at the massive fees (and yours don't include taxes) that you let these companies charge you. In the UK for unlimited data, texts and over 3000 minutes each for my four family users I pay $88 ($72 excluding 20% sales tax). Free Market not working so well for you...

I went from a $100 single line AT&T bill with no perks and bad service at my house and work to a T-Mobile $100 2 lines, unlimited data + great perks with no reception issues. Really a no-brainer in my situation. T-Mobile shakes things up, maybe not useable for everybody, but I like what they do.

Apples and oranges comparison. Maybe you pay less in the UK, but realize that the UK is quite smaller in size than the US. T-Mo and the other carriers cover all of the US for that price. Try that when you leave the UK and go travel in Europe, or does your plan include unlimited roaming costs that as well? FYI, T-Mo US does.

How about the 10GB offer, since it includes Data Stash Binge On, and Music not counting, I doubt you would need the Unlimited offer, makes it $80 for two lines and what essentially amounts to unlimited high speed data.

Not sure where you see that? Right now their website lists two lines with 10GB at $140, which is more than the $120 they are offering for two lines unlimited.

T-Mobile $100 2 lines, unlimited data

Where did you find that price? The current promotion is $120 for two lines unlimited.

That was an offer they had last year.

1: Your quote was broken
( yea I edited cause otherwise mine would be broken too )

2: Uhh have you missed the threads on that? Or other announcements about it?
No he's not talking about the new Direct-TV bundle although admittedly that's only a good ploy for customers who A: Have the option to get Direct TV where they live and B> are willing to subject themselves to it.

( have heard/read mixed reviews but bringing in Direct TV further would start us on a tangent)

We currently have the 2 unlimited lines for $100 (plus a third for $40 more). When Binge-on started, we saw our data usage drop dramatically. I would be tempted to go for the 4 lines x 10 GB each for $120 if I felt confident that binge-on (and music freedom) would continue. But I'm not so sure. Actually, T-mobile announced that unlimited plans were only guaranteed for two years. So maybe we should just switch...

Who cares if a better plan is offered in a few weeks? Notice how T-Mobile opens all their new plans to EXISTING customers? Switch all you want. If in a few months they come out with something better for you, switch. (ack! JackieInCo just said the same thing while I was posting!)

I don't really see why some people have such hatred for TMobile. If you don't like them, don't sign up with them. Unless, of course, you're a jealous VZW customer. ;)

Exactly. T-Mobile may not be for everyone, but for many of us it works well, where we live, where we work, where we travel (for me that's Florida, California & Europe).

I'm a Verizon unlimited data customer but was very impressed when I tried T-Mobile via Ultimate Test Drive. At $37.50 per line it's too good to pass up.
[doublepost=1456714695][/doublepost]This was my question exactly! As an unlimited Verizon customer, would this be worth giving up a plan I could never get back

Sign up for $1 Samsung Ultimate Test Drive for a month when it reopens. You get to pick any service then use it in all the areas you frequent including indoors. For my areas it was just as good if not slightly better than Verizon and it'll get even better when Tmobile rolls out 700MHz band 12. Another plus is Tmobile's phones are usually boot loader unlocked so you can run custom ROMs and/or root whereas Verizon is all locked down.

Is there any catch to this Unlimited 4G Lte thing? No cap or nothing, right?
When I had T-Mobile, there was no catch. Tethering was limited to 5GB, but data was unlimited.
I dropped T-Mobile though due to lack of coverage. Unlimited is worthless without coverage in the areas you need it.
