Earlier this week I did a clean re-install of SL and now in safari 4 I cannot remember how to get the tabs back like they where in safari 3 - under the address bar. I have search on here and also in google, but they did not retrieve much.

If someone could please help me, I would be most grateful 🙂

So what happens when you command-click a link?

EDIT: hmm, I thought there should be a coulpe more checkboxes above that (maybe they got rid of some in Safari 4) but mine also looks like yours. Albeit I have the tab bar below my bookmarks. Download Safari again from http://www.apple.com/safari/download/ and see what happens.

I can still get tabs by clicking cmd + t or by cmd + click. But it is really annoying if you have two or more windows open and you want to put them all together in one safari window and use the tabs to switch between them.

I'm pretty sure the solution will be under the View menu item. Is there an option to "Show tab bar"?

Thank you very much. Yes, looked under View and low and behold there was show tab bar.

I did not think to look in there 🙄

Cheers
