Is there already a simple to follow instruction on solving the USB issue.
After the upgrade on my MacBook Pro M1 to Tahoe 26.2 none of my USB sticks and drives are accessible and recognised by Finder, I did several given suggestions, but the result is ****.

What is the right solution (and I’m will not downgrade)

Can be specific about the “given suggestions” you have tried? Will cut down on the noise.

OP:

Just a thought, you probably did this already, but...
... could you go into System Settings -> Privacy and Security and check to see that you have authorized the connection/recognition of USB devices ??

1 Check USB Preferences & Privacy Settings
Tahoe changed how it handles accessories:
  1. System Settings > Privacy & Security
  2. Scroll to the bottom for Accessories
  3. Try toggling between Always Allow and Always Ask
  4. Reconnect your USB device after changing this
  5. Restart your Mac and try again
Did't solve it.

2 Finder / Disk Utility
  • Finder > Settings > General & Sidebar — ensure External disks is checked.
  • Open Disk Utility:
    • Do you see the drive there?
    • If so, try selecting it and clicking Mount.
    • Try First Aid on it.
These steps resolve detection issues in many case
Did't solve it.

3 Try Another Cable / Port / Hub

Sometimes the simplest fix works:
  • Try a different USB-C cable
  • Try another USB-C port on your MacBook
  • Connect directly instead of through a hub
Bad cables or hubs can fail silently but still provide power
Did't solve it.

4 Safe Mode Test

Restart into Safe Mode (hold Shift while booting):
  • If drives mount in Safe Mode, a third-party extension or driver might be interfering.
Did't solve it.

5 Reset NVRAM
This sometimes clears hardware-related glitches:
  1. Shut down
  2. Power on while holding Option + Command + P + R for ~20 seconds
(This resets some hardware config — on Apple Silicon, a restart does something similar automatically
Did't solve it.

so that is what I did, but still USB sticks and USB drives are not accessable.
