Lot of folks running into problems with the jailbreak installation on Taig 2.1.2.
People have issues at different percentages, re: 20 or 40% but most sound like 60% is where the logjam is and was the case here too.
Setup with Windows Preview 10 and Parallels using iTunes 12.0.1. After finally getting that itunes version loaded and working, the Taig 2.1.2 jailbreak kept hanging at 60%.
After research on other sites, the method which appears to eliminate this problem looks good.
1. Install iTunes 12.0.1 and leave application open during jailbreak.
2. Download Taig 2.1.2 from Taig.com
3. Launch Taig 2.1.2 but double click first and set to "run as administrator"
4. Last, but for many, restore you iPhone to original settings - BUT FIRST BACK UP!
No other prior attempts worked for me but hopefully this will save others hours of time.
Make sure you back up your iPhone PRIOR to doing a restore. Yes, that adds an hour but there was no other way not to for myself and others.
When Taig 2.1.2's application shows it's ready to go, leave OPEN iTunes 12.0.1.
During the jailbreak the first 20% goes smoothly and then it went to 40% for a bit before locking in at the 60% mark. But be patient as the jailbreak will restart the phone maybe once or more before it "continues the jailbreak."
Almost like magic and after about 10 minutes time, the 60% progress bar will all of sudden just jump and Taig will announce you've had a successful jailbreak.
Good luck to everyone!
