FACEPALM.

It's too late. You have to do it during the day. Check again at 8am local time, all of the stores in your state will have watches.

They don't let you order them after a certain time of night. Alaska and Hawaii are the only states that it's early enough in the day.

I'm excited for it haha. My only complaint is that I don't have it right now!

What were you doing in TC? It's a *TOTALLY* different place right now. Like, where I live was a farm like 10 years ago. It's a huge city now haha.

My father was stationed at CCK. It was a wonderful place to grow up. I've seen recent pictures - I still want to come back one day.

Funny listening to you guys talk about having to wait a few days to receive your watch after ordering, when most people in the US didn't get their watch until a month+ from their purchase date.
To make things worse, my watch ordered yesterday is now "shipped". :) Glad the delayed gratification won't be for long...

You should! It's a great city to visit :)

To make things even worse AGAIN, my tracking showed up and says June 30th instead of July 1st, even though Apple still says July 1st. Now I have 3 pages to keep refreshing :p

Also, interestingly enough, most of the watches now say 1-2 weeks. There's a few select models that say 1 working day, but I'm guessing they set aside a bunch of "release" stock for each country, and then put them into queue with everyone else. A good idea, I guess.

My shipping's latest update says "Delay. Recovery Action Underway ". :(:(:(:(:( Let's hope this goes away soon haha.

Ahhh lucky you. Mine says "Onforwarded for delivery" now on TNT, but that was at 1:52 PM and it was in a city 2 hours away. I'm guessing it'll be here tomorrow, although I could get really lucky and have it today. Probably not :p

Got it! First impression: the little nub that goes through the hole is probably going to scratch up my MBP's palmrest. Besides that, I love it so far! It has a learning curve but hopefully I'll figure it out quick enough.

I see this said a lot. How close to your wrist are you wearing the watch? Do you have the 15" MBP?

I have a 13" MBP, and wearing a Hoco metal band the two never come close to each other.

I have a 15" MBP (not Retina, 2011) and my watch isn't super tight(it might be considered loose but I dunno how most people wear theirs.)

I might just use my stuff in a strange way. I can lift my wrists when I use the computer but it's a bit less comfortable.

the black leather loop looks great with the space grey sport.

Yep, I hear that. Back when I used to wear one of those old stainless steel link watches, I would take off my watch whenever I would type on my laptop because I was afraid of scratches and it would sometimes get caught on the edge when I try to move my hand back on the keyboard after doing something else.

It became less of an issue when I switched to the Pebble and I haven't had that much problem with the MacBook and AW yet, but now that I have an office I'm typing much more on my desktop keyboard than I am my MacBook's keyboard...
