I am looking for an App that takes a snapshot of a thief if he/she enters my pin for the lock screen wrongly and send it to me by email.

Do you know such an App?

Definitely somebody should do this if it does not exist already. The internet connection tho might be a problem for this to work.

I don't see any value in doing this. Its no better then find my phone. Most police agencies won't help you locate a phone with Find My iPhone so, I don't think a picture of a random person being emailed to you will help much.

There's one or two jailbreak tweaks that do exactly this and I'm pretty sure that jailbreaking is the only way to get this functionality.

I don't know if this is possible through the App Store now with extensions and Apple opening up the camera more, but traditionally as Brian stated, this could only be done with a JB app.

igotya and icaughtyou, both jailbroken apps work great for this. you can get igotya for android too.
