Takes long time to get connected

Hello,

I'm using a old iPad and not sure of the model. It takes a long time to detect the Wi-Fi network as well as takes time to get connected?
 
probably a case your wifi solution there isnt up to the job as much as it could be. ipads, whatever version or ios, aren't usually the issue.
