I plan on making a reservation at the local Apple Store on Saturday to take care of my broken MBP DVD drive. This got me to thinking, though: Am I going to need my original receipt to show that I bought one? How do I prove that I am still under AppleCare? Anyone have experience with this? Also, can anyone give me an idea of how long it usually takes to fix a problem through the Genius Bar? This is my only computer to use while I'm at school, but I'm at a point in the semester where I could probably go a few days without it.
