Good day,

Is there any way to take a picture that is stored on the phone but not automatically in iCloud? or we have to disable the icloud photo feature before and reactivate it after?

I believe a 3rd party photo application could do that.

Any tips?

Unfortunately I dont know of a way to exclude specific pictures from your iCloud library, but what I would do in your case is take a picture, open it in another app that has local file storage, then delete the picture from my photos app. If you dont want it in your iCloud at all, make sure you do as haruhiko has said above; if your ok with it uploading temporarily, make sure to then delete the picture from both your library and 'recently deleted' folder to never see it again.

Set iCloud Photo Library to sync only via WiFi and turn off WiFi.
Good idea! Let's say I turn that sync only to WiFi, turn off Wifi, take a picture, turn on wifi, will that picture go sync to the cloud or not? I can't test, phone is not with me 😉

Thanks, not that I really don't want it in iCloud but you know when you take a picture of anything but a person, such as something for sale, something broken, a picture your want to show to someone but you don't want it into your Photo library because it has nothing to do with a regular photo, hehe...

I will try that!

Oh yeah, I know what you mean. I save memes to send to friends later and hate keeping them in my library, same with stuff Im looking to sell. What I do is in the library I select those picture that I dont want to 'keep', click "edit", then select "hide". So now when you look at your photos app, you wont see them in your main collection, but if you go to the 'album' tab, there is one that says "hidden" which is where all those will be stored.

I like it because it still syncs those pictures, but I really forget they are there unless I need them specifically and go there to look for them.

Use something like Camera+. It has its own camera roll. If you want to save a photo, you can export it to the main iCloud connected Camera Roll.
