All, I currently have a TMobile SIM in my Ipad Air2. However, I am visiting the UK soon - can I swap my Tmobile SIM out (pay as you go) and use an UK provider for a pay as you go SIM for data?

I'm not familiar with iPads and whether they are locked to the carrier or not. Maybe someone else can chime in about that. But if unlocked, you'll be able to swap sims no problem and use your iPad in the UK.

If unlocked buy the Three sim in the UK. £20 (roughly $30) gives you unlimited 4G data plus when you go back to the USA you will be able to use it there to for the rest of the month for no extra fee. It uses T-mobile and AT&T in the USA. I think it also includes something like 500 texts and minutes but I never use them.

All iPads come unlocked so you should be fine. I take mine overseas all the time. Just make sure you buy the correct SIM card (mobile data vs Phone SIM). Three has good deals for pre-paid.
