apple has reported that the iPhone Air gets about 20 hours of video playback time. which is impressive for such a thin phone.

is there any lab or person that has estimated the number of hours of "talk time" (on cellular calls) ?

thanks very much.

I used it for around 3 hours worth of calls yesterday (half via the speaker everyone says is unusable) and the battery dropped around 10% in that time. Phone was admittedly fresh out of being set up so I'm sure things were going on in the background too.
How was the speaker quality? And what type of environment were you in?

They were all 1 on 1 calls, and I was in my office with minimal noises around me. Volume didn't need to be even halfway maxed out. Would not be able to tell you the difference between the Air and my 16's speakers for calls other than the sound coming from the top vs the bottom of the phone. It's noticeable if you try to play music out of it, but that's not something I do regularly so no big deal.

hi
i appreciate your post.
typically i am making calls (over a 4 or 5 hour window) that total around 3 hours actual total talk time on cellular.
so your data point was very useful for me.
thanks.
