The pic is taken directly from Apple's presentation at WWDC. If it's fake, then Apple faked it! Or GDGT stretched it before posting it.

No, the OP is right. Judging by the shot with the presenter right below the phone I would say that it is at least 5 feet tall.
 
I gotta say I hope more changes with the look other than the screen size. Full revamp in need.
 
Why do people insist a company that is so big on secrecy would reveal an unreleased device during their own keynote? I'm not saying there are not leaks, but who honestly thinks Apple would place a picture of a prototype device they don't plan on releasing for months in their own slideshow?

It's bad for sales to tease a new product that far in advance. That is a fact. Apple is kind of rich, and they got that way by not doing stupid troll moves.
