Tap sensor twice

I've found that if I tap the finger sensor twice, it drops the screen down. Does anyone know what that is?

That is a feature of iOS 8 on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. It allows for easier access to elements at the top of the screen when using one hand.

Yes, it's called "Reachability" and it's there to help you reach the top of the UI when using the phone one-handed.

Tap sensor twice

Simple. Stop tapping twice, or goto settings-general-accessibility and turn reachability off.

I must have glazed over that one...

Did that on a C-130 weapons brief and ended up requesting use of one of the most expensive one use weapons in the military.
