On my touch, the downloaded tracks just play, but don't show the beats on the screen, is there something else you need to do? I installed using installer.app

Is it really now...? It doesn't seem to be available on their website. And based on that, I doubt its in the CVS tree...

My bad - I meant to say "isn't". My spelling has been awfull of late :(

Anyway, I know how to download the default stuff in TTR. I was asking if it is possible to download the ttr files used for custom songs in my music library. Doesn't seem like there's an option, or way to do so right now - so I stand by my statement that TTR is only a worth using if you have a wireless connection on an iPod touch.

I think it just worked for me, I created one for "The No Seatbelt Song" by brand new, and I am pretty sure I just played it lol..

I think it is basically a game of chance when it comes to creating beats... I will continue to try though, lol

this game could be so much better.

if the creater would release a new version where creating beats would work i would keep it on my touch.

also, it always crashes whenever i try to play songs from my own library, i just have to download one of the random ones... it worked at first but hasnt for a while.

you can actually get songs you make to work offline. first you need finder, which you can download from installer. all your ttr beats are located in var/root/media/ttr/taps and your files will be under the iTunes folder. whatever songs you plan on adding you need to rename so that it is the same name as the song file. for example, Sum 41 - With me.tap. Then you move that file to the taps folder where the other downloaded songs are. Then find the song file. one way to get it is through drop copy, which you need on your computer and ipod those files appear in var/root/media/dropcopy. make sure the song file is the same name as the tap file and move it into the ~/media/ttr/music folder. and there you go! you can now play your own songs offline. All of the songs appear under downloaded tracks in ttr. hope this helps everyone! :)

Yeah it is really buggy, it's the only app that's caused me to crash my iPod (freeze it totally), but it's for me the best game on the touch so I just take it as it is. Can't expect perfection without a real SDK I suppose.

I love this game so much, I've created taps for at least 5 songs since I downloaded it yesterday. I only wish there were more features like a most played list, and the ability to rate the taps and then remove poorly done ones. I'd also like to be able to view my own taps and delete the one that I poorly did and accidentally finished.

I have the Guitar Hero III mod on mine! :p

And you put it on your iPod Touch with the Installer app, Carebear910.

could you post a video and maybe a guide to do it? A lot of people have been asking about this lately. ;)

Not sure about a video but I got it through Installer, not sure what source though, I will check and post back! If you dont like it you can uninstall it and all is normal again.

EDIT: Its the LimitedEditioniPhone.com source

oh thanks never mind on the video then, i thought it was more complicated than that. I just remembered people asking about it, and no one knew. Thanks though!
