Tap to Wake risk in pockets?

Guys, if I set my iPhone 11 to Tap to Wake and put the phone in my jeans pocket, will the screen constantly come on in my pocket?

When you grab for it, and hold it in your hand, yes. This is how I accidentally dialed 911 once. Don't turn it on, its a stupid feature. Otherwise it won't turn on by itself in your jeans pocket

Right, I’ve turned tap to wake on, but even though I’ve adjusted for it to wake after 4:00 it still wakes on the slightest and quickest of touches. Am I doing something wrong?

I have no clue what you’re talking about. I don’t have any setting to say when tap to wake will work, only on or off...

Hi, it’s this setting in Accessibility. You have the option to adjust it up to 4 seconds.

That’s not tap to wake. That’s touch accommodations. This is what tap to wake looks like

Thanks. I thought this may have been a setting whereby you can adjust how long you’d need to touch to wake. ?
