11" iPP, tap-to-wake actually takes multiple taps. Like, 3, 4, or 5 in a row to actually wake the screen. Anyone else? Been happening for a while, even across multiple iPadOS updates.

Is also guess in the direction of screen protector or dirty screen. Do you restart every once in a while too?

All good thoughts here!

- Seems like serious lag, then, IMO. It’s like: tap... nothing. Tap tap... nothing. Tap tap tap tap FINALLY the screen wakes up! Sometimes it takes 3-4 taps, sometimes more.
- No screen protector, and no substantial amount of dirt/oil. I clean it regularly every couple of days (especially now with C19, but this has been occurring before COVID).
- Restart every couple of months. Not sure what that might have to do with this, though.

On my 2018 iPad Pro 11' - this happened once every other month or so, it was really rare. It never was something I could replicate. I have a 2020 now so ... hasn't happened since I've taken ownership of this thing. (this year).

Yeah, I kinda suspect it's a flaw in my device. I've also had weird phantom screen touches, and an audible click in the portrait-based S and D keyboard area.
