Yes

But naturally, I figured I'd start a thread for "you people" to vent about your apple neuroses. Go!

Do you people not look at the front page of MacRumors when you come to MacRumors?

If it wasn't obvious, I'd like to see who, if any, have noticed this issue (now or later)... as I have one of this things in the mail.

as i have one of this things in the mail?

what does that mean ?

and OLD NEWS :apple:

Your thread title is VERY misleading will cause a lot of anguish due to your rush to post.

There is NO defect in the first wave (at least not a general defect). The problem was found before shipping occurred and the defective watches weren't shipped (other than the occasional defect which can occur regardless of anything else).

Why are you so anxious to misrepresent and stir things up and make people unhappy? It's very sad.

I do hope you get a defective watch and experience the anguish you are trying to inflict of many others.

Why would there be anguish? Apple has a Cadillac return policy.

Also, you don't know there isn't. The odds have certainly gone up.

Has it been confirmed that no defective units shipped?

Of course not, but that's not the story. The story is that they found defective units and had to make quick changes, which constrained supplies. Even The Verge's article tries to make it sound like all of the watches in the wild are defective - that simply isn't the case.

It's the story for me as I got one on Friday :)

Owners should see the silver lining in this. You get a free watch to abuse, and then in 6 months you can take it in for a brand new one. Had that happen with my original iPhone at 11 months.

"Apple told some suppliers of other Watch parts to slow production until June"

That's a quote from every article I've read on the matter....I like being optimistic just as much as the next guy but it sure sounds like a "now" kind of issue...

I don't even care about the taptic or tap on your arm feedback. To bad Apple didn't give some they didn't make two models, one without that taptic feedback. I would have said ship that one lol.

1. The name of the site is MacRUMORS.

2. If Gerber said they had some defective baby formula but they cleared it all up, would you let your infant keep guzzling it or be a little more unbiased in your analysis?
