Hiya,

Just picked up my watch today.

My taptic can actually be heard, like a click, when it goes off.

Is this normal? Also, I have prominent taptic enabled, but it still makes the click noise even at the normal level.

Thanks

You sure you haven't got the sound enabled, too?

Taptic alone makes no noise however by default audio is on and it does make a tick/click noise in time with the taptic

I had the same concern. The click sound is coming from the speaker not the engine. I thought my taptic engine was broken to make that click like a defective hard drive would.

Apple should have paired the taptic engagement with a bell sound. The click sounds like its broken when it isnt.

There is a waterproof speaker next to the Taptic Engine. It produces a 'tick' or 'click' sound in-sync with the Taptic Engine.

The click sound if very deliberate on apples part ;)
