I haven't been keeping up with X deals. I should have jumped on the B1G1 AT&T ran around Valentine's Day.

I'm on T-Mo and wanting to switch to AT&T. Is the $250 gift card from Target a good deal? I suppose it can be stacked with B1G1. Anything else out there lately better?

I have a feeling I'll get this and then a B1G1 including the X will come out shortly after haha.

Thanks

If you shop at Target or have a use for the $250 card then sure it's a good deal.. I am not aware of the specifics but read the fine print and see what it entails..

Yes we shop there weekly (right up the street from us). Just says $250 with any activation.

I have DTV also. That’s a requirement sometimes for offers. The reception I mentioned in another thread worries me though. Sister said her 7+ has better reception than her son’s X (he doesn’t get service in some areas whereas hers is always fine).

Reception for me on AT&T is about the same I get with other phones. Where I live signal strength is weak but my X does fine. I had a Pixel last year that was terrible. I had an iPhone 8 before trading for the X and the 8 was about on par with X, signal strength wise..

A $250 gift card is a good deal in my opinion. I usually get phones from Sams Club when they run a similar promo.

Good to know...thanks for the info!

I keep going back and forth on this because, like I said, I have a feeling they will let 2 X's come back in an offer for B1G1 soon. Then again, they may not. I think it only lasted a week or 2 didn't it?

Hard call... If you have a use for 2 X's then maybe trying calling AT&T and ask for the retention department. They can offer all kinds of things a regular rep can't. I can see them giving you the BOGO offer. Of course it all depends on length of service / how long you've been a customer and if you've had any past payment issues ect.

Just tell them you are thinking about switching carriers and see what they offer..

Well I am with t-mobile and want to switch to AT&T. Signal indoors is just frustrating me. That and I went the cheap route of getting my screen fixed, and it acts crazy sometimes. Want a new phone as a result.

I believe at some point Target offered a $300 gift card. That said, right now looks like a good time to do it. Other times the gift card is lower or there is no such promo at all.

Keep in mind the $250 is for a new line, and it's $150 for an upgrade of an existing AT&T line.

Plus this stacks with the AT&T iPhone 8 BOGO if you are activating a new line (the other can be an upgrade or another new line), which currently doesn't have an expiration date but I'm not sure how much longer it'll be around.

I would be wanting to port 2 lines over from T-mobile to AT&T. At the moment the BOGO doesn’t include 2 X’s, so maybe we would go with X and 8 Plus.
