Hi,
now this may be a completely silly question, but how are you actually supposed to activate Target Disk Mode while using Bootcamp? I know that i have to press "T" while starting up the old mac...that works fine...in Mac OS X. I also visited that help page from Apple, but it seems somewhat dated and it says something about reinstalling the IEEE1394 driver...i dont even have this on in my device manager.
Also, i did install all updates and the complete bootcamp drivers package.
Situation is as follows : rMBP with a fresh Bootcamp Installation and 2011 MBP with Bootcamp as well.
My goal : I want to be able to access my old Bootcamp harddrive via the windows explorer and copy over my files.
Question : Is it even possible? If so, how do i make this happen?
Thank you!
