Hi,
I recently converted to mac and I want to know how to display the equivalent of task manager in the program ionsole (it's like the terminal). I tried the command "top" but it does not work, when I try the computer responds me'' Error opening terminal: xterm-256color''.

So if you can tell me how to run the command "top" in ionsole I would be very happy.

thank you :)

It would appear that the termcap definition for xterm-256color is missing on your setup. Would you mind saying which OSX version you use exactly?

For now, you could add something like export TERM="xterm-color" to your .profile.

We'll make sure this issue is addressed in another update.

May I suggest you take a look at the Activity Monitor under OS X (It's called Process Explorer (I think) on earlier OSes). It shows you all sorts of info about running programs.

If you do want to use top, make sure you read the manual page by doing "man top" and reading through it.
