Ferrero Rocher and Nutella are #3 and #4 on my common man's chocolate list, to be honest, and that's with Nutella being more of a hazelnut spread than anything.
#1 for me: Timtams (Australia).
#2 for me: Coffee Crisps (Canada).
#3 and #4 already mentioned.
Anything M&M/Mars/Hershey's is a distant 9 billionth on my list.
Never had Timtams until moving to Japan. Yes they are amazing.
Nutella and Rocher may be hyped but that doesn't mean that they are bad. Rocher is nice because it is individually wrapped and can sit out for a long time meaning it can last throughout long holiday spells as a tabletop snack. The fat in Nutella helps slow digestion of sugar in milk. Milk has a lot of trypophan. Tryptophan is an amino acid that assists sleep. Having a little Nutella on a small slice of bread with a bit of milk before sleep means higher quality sleep for me.
Lots of fat? Seriously? Fat is healthy to consume and necessary especially if you exercise. The mediterranean diet has a lot of fat and mediterranean people are generally skinnier than those who consume less fat. People need to stop worrying about consuming too much fat and start exercsing more. No excuses unless you have something like MS or ALS or are quadriplegic.
