Is there anyone with a wrist tattoo that is able to wear the series 3 and it’s reading and receiving texts, calls? I had the series 2 and it would not work for me. I am hoping it has better sensors. Thank you.

The sensors is not what's going to repair the issue. It's the depth of the ink from the tattoo that the sensors can't penetrate past. You're likely going experience exact same issues with your Series 2 as you would your Series 3. Others had success with tattoos with The first generation Apple Watch and Series 1/2, and others did not, but it's all dependent on the ink from tattoo itself.

I have a tattoo and my series 0 works fine. I guess it’s hit or miss.

You can always turn off wrist detection. The only thing you lose is Apple Pay I believe and maybe heart rate sensor periodically checking heart rate. I believe you’d have to check it manually.

I have the series 3. So far, so good. On occasion it'll pop up with the passcode, but it hasn't been an issue. I still have my charge 2, so thought I would test it on my bare wrist... and HR has been tracking accurately. I haven't used apple pay yet with my watch so I can't speak to that.

I have tattoos on my wrist as well. I just had to raise the watch just a bit higher then I normally would wear it and it works perfectly. Seems some ink colors can penetrate better then others.
