Taupe leather case ageing

I’ve had it now since X’s launch and so far it feels more durable than the saddle brown I had. Definitely my favorite now on space gray X.

Here’s a pic of the one I had on my 7+. It’s tan but very similar to the taupe. I’ll be getting a taupe one for my X and hope it patinas in a similar fashion. I speed up the patina using coconut oil and coffee grinds.

Sorry for the delay! As you can see, the patina is developing around the edges first and making its way around the case. Love love love this color!

Looks dirty to me. Taupe looks the best when new imo, while saddle when aged.
