"Track 3" is an epic experimental piece of musical minimalism that will totally redefine the noise genre! Bravo!
They maybe crap songs in your opinion.
But look on the bright side, she's earn't more money than you'll ever see in your whole life.
It will be the top earning song of 2014.
It probably sounds better than 95% of music today anyways so good for her! For what it's worth, I've never heard one of her songs and am not a fan...I just think today's music is awful.

$1.29 for an 8 second song? Egad! Talk about price gouging. I can get a Mozart CD from the bargain bin at the local music store for $1.29.

I dunno. I like her music. At least she writes a fair amount of her songs and can play instruments unlike many artists.
I also think the song got to the top in part because many people had the album pre-ordered, not because they purchased the 8 second track by itself.

In over half a decade she has made one song that I enjoyed enough to buy (Love Story) and admittedly it doesn't have much depth. Its brilliance is in its innocent simplicity: emphasis on the innocence which is sorely lacking in music today (I'm looking at ... err ... averting my eyes from you Beyonce and Miley!).

With all due respect to Letterman (Let's call it what it is; he should have been the successor to Carson), you should have tuned to Fallon. Daniel Radcliffe rapping Alphabetic Aerobics by Blackalicious in its entirety was pretty damn good.
