TBD as a TV?

Hi there,

I am going to college this year as a double major in CS/Graphic Design and a minor in business.

I am considering getting a TBD for my 2012 MBA (Probably refurbished if no retina comes out soon) and I am wondering how one would go about getting TV to work on it too. I know that I could just use some USB TV tuner to go from my MBA and then send the image to TBD but I am not sure if that is the best method. If it is, does anyone have a TV Tuner suggestion that is affordable yet good?

You would have to go through your computer to get TV on a Thunderbolt Display. These are awesome and would do the trick: http://www.elgato.com/eyetv/eyetvhybrid

But think twice before blowing your cash on a TBD. For the price of all that you could buy yourself an HDTV and an nice monitor.
