Hello,

Maybe it is a dumb question, but...

If I buy a TimeCapsule 500GB in London (UK), will it work in any country around the world (Brazil, per example)?

Thank you.

Yes, but Brazilian gigabytes are measured differently, so it'll actually be a 600 GB drive when you go there.

You may need a different cable or adapter for the electrical outlet, though.

Oh yes you have to watch out for the difference between the UK and Brazilian Gigabytes.

Also dont forget that you need to use proper protection because UK electrical devices tend to get viruses easily, as seen by the recent spread of the Norovirus.

Why 600GB? Will I have more space? :)

Of course, 500GB is 500GB. Maybe it is the sun, so hot here, thinking 'lazy'!

Time to change my Linksys WRT54G!

Brazil, 100F here, nice day for beach!

I get irony, do not worry! :p

Another question:

Can I connect the cable modem direct into my TC? Or I have to connect the link with my modem and then to TC?

Thank you.

OK, I keep needing 2 devices - modem and TC.

Thx, BlueRevolution!
