Elven macrumors 6502a Original poster Jul 27, 2011 #1 Hi all Today Steam threw out an update to their client, since this update I cannot connect to a single TF2 server without being thrown back to desktop. Anyone else got this issue as it is driving me nuts. I'm using a mid 2011 i7 iMac with the 2GB GPU.

A alter macrumors newbie Jul 27, 2011 #2 Same problem since update today 😡. Once the map loads, i hear all the sounds of the game in progress, but once i choose a team, it quits after some seconds. Now its quitting even before it enters the map. Are you facing the same?

C CalebP macrumors newbie Jul 27, 2011 #3 I noticed that loading took a little bit longer, and the above problems have struck me as well.

C CCBPES34 macrumors newbie Jul 27, 2011 #5 EDIT: Steam just finished downloading a patch for TF2. Details says they fixed it the crash.
S SlickShoes macrumors 6502a Jul 27, 2011 #6 If its not fixed, put character details to low and you should be able to play. I play on windows but i have had massive different probs since last patch, it seems to have messed a good few things up!
