Does it feel just as wide as the normal Tech 21? I didn't like how the regular Tech 21 felt thin and wide on the sides.
Are the sides aluminum? Any lip on the front?
Purchased this case for the 6 plus at the Apple Store a few days ago. Unfortunately it will be going back. Very good looking case. A little too square edge for me but that's not the main problem. The Sides are aluminum and way too slippery. Especially on the 6 plus which due to its size needs to have a good grip. It's not a heavy case per say but does add noticeable bulk. Also, the mute switch is near impossible to get to in the case. Lastly the bottom is not as loose as the evo mesh but has a weird sag to it. Hard to explain. Sorry for no pictures, but have already put back in package for return.
Yes, it's bulky (wide). The sides are aluminum. And the bottom lip sits right on the edge of the phone. This case is a bit more sturdier than the mesh one. I went online to Tech 21 and didn't see the case on there. I don't mind the bulkiness.
I just bought the Tech21 Evo Mesh Sport in blue on Friday. Great case, pretty secure but I'm afraid it may look a little "girlie". I will probably trade in for the Elite and give it a try. Good to know about the sag at the bottom, may drive me nuts, too.
that smooth "glossy" back drove me nuts in 1 day cause of all the finger print, oil marks...
I exchanged that for a similar case, the Tech21 Classic Tactical... the back is matte so no marks!!!

The Tech21 Tactical's material is great. Love the way it feels in the hand.
the Tactical? its not "bulky" but the case is wide... dunno how to explain it, its thin but wide... lol

I traded Evo Mesh Sport for Evo Elite. Aluminum sides are a bit slippery but the case looks sharp. Fingerprints will show on the back but many cases out there will, too. Evo Mesh Sport definitely a better grip though. Just my preference, I like the Evo Elite.
Yes unfortunately. I have the original tech 21 case, not the eve mesh, and it is awesome. I am getting bored so I got this one at the apple store because it is great looking. When I unboxed it I was thrilled because the other three sides of the case are strong and awesome looking but the bottom, near the charging port, is very flimsy and weak. I haven't decided if the rest of the case is worth the trade off as of yet. It looks great and because the other three sides hold it highly with a nice lip around the edges, I might sacrifice and keep it.
The Evo Elite at the bottom is a bit flimsy but I wouldn't consider it loose. I think the case looks great and I'm confident it would protect my phone in a drop. It's not the cheapest case though.
I'm thinking about getting a Tactical for my 6+, or waiting to see what happens with the next iPhone and then just get one of the waterproof cases.
I picked up the evo elite case for my iphone 6 and it’s really nice looking. Buttons are easier to press than on the classic shell and feels more sturdy. I do believe the edges of the case are plastic and not aluminum, but they are kind of slick. Just noticed I have a crack on mine at the bottom. Will probably exchange it tomorrow. Photos taken with a 3gs, so excuse the poo poo quality.

I have this exact same case and I love it. I want to be able to use it with my new 6s plus. Do you think this case will fit??? It seems to be a pretty tight fit for me.
The case is a pretty tight fit. While I know the 6s is only slightly bigger, I have my doubts that it’ll fit properly.
I contacted Tech21, they confirmed that it was compatible....
