Hi,
I've just bought myself my first Mac (iMac) and would appreciate it if someone could point me at a good, semi-technical guide for the Mac newbie. I've looked at the beginner's guide at the top of this forum but it isn't quite what I'm after.
What I'm after is a sort of power-user's introduction which tells me about filesystem layout, architecture and that sort of thing. I'm a long-time Linux user and I know Ubuntu and Fedora linux inside out. I'd just like to peek under the hood of the Mac so that I can relate better to what is going on. I'd also like to get to grips with automating tasks and making better use of what I have been lead to believe is the most productive OS on the planet.
Thanks,
Craig.
