TechnoBuffalo saying new macbook airs next week :)

I doubt it, theres been nothing on MR about it and theyre usually good at given us some rumor about the stores getting the new products.

Don't think it will come out before the 14th, would be awesome if it did but highly unlikly. Although they dont have to make physical copies they sitll have to put it on all the computers they are going to sell and the GM isnt that old, plus they have to train staff, and put up the new displays in the stores and we've heard nothing of this yet. I think some of these websites write stuff even if they hear it from none credible sources, it gives them hits on their websites. Macrumors is typically up to date with the latest stuff so i would go with what they are saying.
 
TechnoBuffalo's content is very inconsistent. All of noah's stuff is just great, and I really like their product reviews, but their news and rumors coverage is, well... ******. 70% of it is a MacRumors repost.
 
Week? I think we'll have to wait a little longer, than week :). I still belive that true date of release is after 19th of july.

No, it doesn't. For the simple fact that you're gonna need Snow Leopard to use Lion, means that they can ship it with SL if they wanted.

They probably won't, but they could if they wanted to.
 
Whenever they do release it I just hope they bump up the drive space on the 11" airs... My girlfriend wants one and she prefers the 11" but she is using 141gb on her current 13" Aluminum macbook, so the 128gb top end on the 11" MBA just wont do. If they make 256gb as an option on the 11" we'll be golden

You'd be surprised how much a little trimming can do. Delete unused apps, move media to an external drive, etc.

If they dont bump up the drive and she is gun-ho on the 11" I may have to go that route.

They wouldn't hold them for lion then say "oh Nevermind" with a week to go. Nothing he said was incorrect. MBA will ship with lion. Period.
 
Looks like it will be sometime next week. I bet Techno is going to blame it on apple changing their shipping days, that way "their sources" are still credible. :D

Im pcless... execpt im currently using a really old windows pc... took me 30 min to boot -______-
