TechTool Pro on SSD/MBA? (MacUpdate Winter Promo)

I just got an email from MacUpdate regarding their latest Winter Bundle Promo - $49.99 for the bundle and it comes with Tech Tool Pro 6.

Is Tech Tool Pro at all good to have around with these SSDs on our MBAs? I'm thinking I probably won't need it but if in any case I may, I was wondering if I should dive in.

I'm not sure the disk tests will do anything, but Tech Tools does include some other hardware tests.

Thanks KPOM Yeah what the TechTool could do for the SSD-based system seemed unclear at best really. The price point looks very tempting indeed but I guess there isn't enough reason for me to grab a copy.

I already have a copy of Data Rescue and DiskWarrior (from previous Mac purchases), and CrashPlan keeps copies of my files so...yeah I guess I'll hold off for now unless someone else could suggest otherwise
