I just got an email from MacUpdate regarding their latest Winter Bundle Promo - $49.99 for the bundle and it comes with Tech Tool Pro 6.

Is Tech Tool Pro at all good to have around with these SSDs on our MBAs? I'm thinking I probably won't need it but if in any case I may, I was wondering if I should dive in.

Thoughts please~ Thanks!

I'm not sure the disk tests will do anything, but Tech Tools does include some other hardware tests.

Thanks KPOM :) Yeah what the TechTool could do for the SSD-based system seemed unclear at best really. The price point looks very tempting indeed but I guess there isn't enough reason for me to grab a copy.

I already have a copy of Data Rescue and DiskWarrior (from previous Mac purchases), and CrashPlan keeps copies of my files so...yeah I guess I'll hold off for now unless someone else could suggest otherwise ;)
