I’m really liking my techwoven case. I hated the FineWoven cases, but these are much nicer. Excellent grip to them and they feel much higher quality. I still miss Apple’s leather cases, but these are an excellent addition to Apple’s case offerings and a massive improvement from FineWoven.

I never tried a Fine Woven case but I tray like the Tech Woven also

I haven’t used my phone without the case, but I wonder if it’s the case making me push the power button too easily. I’ve turned it off several times while using it and when I pull it out of my pocket, it’s quite often on the Apple Pay screen because I’ve hit the power button while pulling it out.

The buttons on the case are very nice, but they are pretty prominent, they stick out maybe more than they need to

Anybody else having issues with phone not fitting tight. My case is loose and easy for the phone slip out.

Mine is the opposite, it fits really tight. I don’t think there’s any way that if you got the right case for the phone that it ”slip out”.

I’m actually really liking my techwoven case. I hated last years, but these are much better. They have a nice feel and so far been sock solid without a mark on it. I still miss Apples leather cases, but these are an excellent addition to Apple’s case offerings.

Nice, as soon as MobileReviewsEh seemed enthusiastic about this, I knew it was going to be good. I wish Apple released this for all iPhones that were originally supposed to get FineWoven.

Just got mine and I really like it - it’s a good fit, buttons are great, feels nice and grippy in hand and looks premium. Purple on the silver pro max.

I just got back from the Apple Store after picking up a Techwoven case. I wanted to see/feel them and the colors in person before deciding. I ended up with sienna for my orange pro. I actually like the texture. And they look very nice, as well. After only ever using leather (my last phone was a 13 pro,) I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this. But I do like it.

I don’t recall saying there was. I said the techwoven are better than last year, meaning better than FineWoven.

That’s what’s I said. There was no FineWoven last year. After the disaster of the iPhone 15 cases they skipped last year.

loving mine, esp the orange is still showing ... the blue is actually darker and the screen I not that dull in real life ;)

I had a hard time selecting between blue and sienna for my orange phone. I really like both. But, the store was out of blue, so sienna it is.

The blue does look quite nice with the orange!
Yea, while I was setting up the phone I asked one of the associates to bring me a sienna one (I hadn't opened my blue one yet), but decided to stay with the blue.
Then a bit later some other customer sat down right opposite from me at the table and put the sienna case on his orange phone...

I think I was one of the only people that really liked the FineWoven case - maybe the best year for phone + case was the 15 Pro with FineWoven, IMO.

This year orange 17 Pro + black TechWoven is really nice. Love the texture and the fit is really nice. I love how the orange border just shows out of the front.

The 2023 Finewoven cases were trash
Then in 2024 Apple skipped and only had Silicone
The 2025 Techwoven is amazing

I love the rough texture of the TW this year. It provides enough grip but not enough like silicone where it would grip the pockets.

My only gripe with the TechWoven case I have is if you’re resting your pinky on the bottom one handed, it doesn’t feel comfortable (for me).

FineWoven was awful, but Tech Woven is just meh.
Why not make a vegan leather or Alcantara case instead?
Samsung did Alcantara case years ago (that suede-like material used in sports car interiors ) and it felt so premium. For this price, Tech Woven feels like nylon and the color choices are weak.

Alcantara is not durable at all. It’d last longer than fine woven did but it’ll wear out really quickly.

Dunno, I had it on a Samsung flagship (official case) a few years back and it lasted the whole year I used the phone.no issues.sure, it’s a luxury material, probably not as tough as Tech Woven’s nylon/polyester. But it’s what they put on sports car steering wheels and dashboards, so if it works there, it should be fine on a phone , at least as an option, not the only one.

I picked up an ESR Clear Case to test the power button issue . i can immediately tell the buttons are not so easily pressed. Might return the Apple case which is disappointing because other than the power button getting pressed inadvertently I really like it
